About Park House Hotel & Spa

Park House Hotel & Spa began life as a private house with polo connections in the village of Bepton, a few minutes' drive from Midhurst, and has grown under successive family ownership into a full country-house hotel set across ten acres of grounds.

The 23 rooms are spread between the main house and a cluster of cottages, and the grounds hold a genuinely wide range of outdoor facilities for a property of this size: a nine-hole golf course, tennis courts, a croquet lawn, a bowls lawn, and both an indoor spa pool and a heated outdoor pool. The spa itself offers a full range of treatments alongside the pools, sauna and gym.

Its setting away from the town centre, looking out over open Sussex countryside, makes it a popular choice for a country retreat, weddings and longer breaks rather than a one-night stopover, while still keeping Midhurst and the Cowdray Estate within easy reach by car.

From from the moment we arrived to the minute we left the hospitality from every member of staff we met was the best I’ve ever experienced and I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world. What really stood out was that the service was delivered with a smile that felt sincere and genuine. Nothing was too much trouble and every member of the team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. A special mention to Stuart, who was incredibly helpful and insured we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We actually found Park House Hotel and Spa by accident on Google Maps but we’re so glad we did. The hotel itself is beautiful and the grounds are stunning. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the opportunity to experience the spa this time, but that’s definitely our aim when we return. We will absolutely be coming back and would highly recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service and a truly relaxing stay. Thank you to Stuart and the entire team for making our visit so memorable.

Chose this hotel as its location is almost exactly halfway between my friend and I. The lady who helped me book was very professional and friendly (we wanted to share a room, with separate beds, but not single beds) and book treatments. The welcome was warm and friendly. Plenty of easy parking. The room was perfect for us with its own little patio and garden area. Clean and well equipped with comfortable beds and powerful shower. We each had a 90 min treatment in the spa. Both of us were very impressed with the treatment and the technicians providing them. They also spoke in detail about the products used and what was available to buy. The jacuzzi and 2 pools were clean and well maintained. Not many loungers by the outdoor pool (only 1 available at 3pm) and it wasnt particularly sunny, nor a weekend so I imagine it could be frustrating to access in sunbathing/outdoor weather. Room service very reasonably priced and excellent food, plenty of choices too. The staff qho took the order and those who brought it to the room were professional and friendly. Breakfast again excellent with plenty of freshly cooked and buffet choices and friendly efficient staff. Really did enjoy our joint birthday spa stay, all staff are a credit to their professions and to the hotel. We are planning to return this year. Highly recommend this gem! 5 🌟.

Best hotel my wife and I have stayed in. The hotel overall was aged but nowhere outdated or tired - just comforting. The room was very comfortable with an exceptional ensuite ( slight downside was size and awkward placement of plugs.) The staff were amazing - so pleasant, cheerful and efficient, one and all. The restaurant had good views, a good ambiance and the food, whilst not outstanding, was very acceptable (recommend all day menu). Again, exceptional service. The facilities were excellent - pools, spa, golf, tennis, bowls, croquet, etc. Plus treatments. Whilst it was expensive (for the likes of us!, with top of the range cars everywhere), we treated ourselves and were richly rewarded. Thank you to all who made our stay memorable.

We could not have been made more welcome. All the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and the food is delicious and beautifully presented. It's a small hotel so it feels comfortable and homely. We also very much enjoyed the spa especially being able to use the sauna then dip in the outdoor pool - in February. My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here and cannot recommend it more highly. We have already been telling our friends they should pay the hotel a visit and definitely book dinner bed and breakfast.
