Corner Cottage

Corner Cottage works well for families or couples wanting their own space on a working farm. The two bedrooms—one kingsize, one twin—sit upstairs, with the ground floor given over to an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area that flows naturally for cooking and gathering. One bathroom serves the property. Everything you need for a self-catering break is here: the kitchen has an oven, dishwasher and full-sized fridge; heating is solar-assisted; bed linen and towels are supplied, along with Wi-Fi. A cot, stairgate and highchair are available if you're bringing young children.

The real draw for families is outdoors. A semi-private courtyard with sitting area and barbecue opens off the cottage itself, perfect for evening meals when the weather cooperates. Beyond that, the property has access to a 2½-acre enclosed field where children can run freely and dogs have dedicated space to exercise. There's a children's play area, a tree swing, benches, and an in-ground fire pit for anyone wanting to spend an evening gathering around it. Parking for two cars is on site. One dog can stay free. The cottage does not permit smoking.
