The Arnside and Silverdale National Landscape draws walkers and nature watchers year-round. Limestone pavements, coastal paths and fell walks are minutes away, and the area has a working farm heritage that runs deep—The Dairy itself was converted from a former farm building. Carnforth sits on the edge of this landscape, with easy access to both the moorland above and the shoreline below.
The cottage is a compact conversion for two people: a ground-floor open-plan living space with kitchen, dining at a breakfast bar, and bathroom, plus a galleried first-floor bedroom with a zip-and-link super kingsize bed (can be made twin on request). The room layout creates unexpected height and light. A woodburner warms the living area in winter; underfloor heating runs through the bathroom. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, hob, air fryer, fridge—as well as day-to-day living. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. A welcome pack, front garden with seating and a BBQ, and parking for one car come as standard. Bike storage is available on request.
The setting works for couples seeking a retreat or anyone wanting to base themselves for walking or exploring the fells and coast. The property is no-smoking, and one well-behaved pet can stay at no extra charge.
