About Delta Hotels Milton Keynes by Marriott
A generous breakfast and a bar serving all-day drinks and meals set the tone at Delta Hotels Milton Keynes by Marriott, on Timbold Drive in Milton Keynes. The restaurant and snack bar cover most meal times, while room service and drinks in room are available for anyone who'd rather not leave their floor.
The hotel has 138 rooms across three floors, including family and accessible options, all en-suite. Rooms are generally spacious and represent good value, though not every room has air conditioning, and some parts of the building could do with freshening up. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful. Facilities extend to a 24-hour gym, a lift, a garden and picnic area, meeting rooms and business services, plus laundry and luggage storage for longer stays.
Free on-site parking makes it easy to explore the surrounding area, including Kents Hill and Bletchley Park, with the M1 within reach for onward travel. Pubs, restaurants and entertainment are nearby, and pets are welcome for those travelling with animals.
What guests say
Hotel is in a fairly isolated spot that requires you to only use the hotel facilities rather than anywhere else. The car park is large and the car parking spaces (as with most these days) are too small for most modern cars. The room was sufficient but for an upgrade it was disappointing. The bed was the only decent thing as it was super king size (not all the rooms are, depends what you book). The room was basic but sufficient, a little sparse in terms of comfortable furniture and limiting on the tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom and shower were good. Acoustics wise, the room was noisy from other guests in the corridor, door banging was prevalent as well as light pollution from under the door into the room at night and rubbish curtains. Overall, hotel is tired and needs updating and some courtesy signage to remindnither guests to keep quiet and not allow dorrs to slam. Corridor carpets were awful too. Breakfast was disappointing, horrible grey looking bacon, only scrambled eggs (as it probably needs less chefs for fried, poached etc). Coffee machine was awful. Hotel probably offers value for money but I would say it was not competitive with other hotels in the area (holiday Inn express for example) which was far better. I ventured and tested this place as it had the word 'Marriott' in the title but please take my advice and don't bother. There are far better hotels for the same or less.

For a delta Marriott hotel this clearly needs a refresh. We stayed for an evening that had been booked for months, staffing issues meant the bar wasn't open, no wine for the tables, aircon didn't work, none of the event boards were up and some guest had the wrong food served to them. Our first room had dog hair all over the furniture so staff helped us find a new room. The staff that were there were lovely. The cooked food at breakfast was nice enough, do not have the orange juice.

This is a really nice hotel, lots of parking, handy for the OU (and for simply passing through) and very clean. Staff are great and hardworking. Hotel is quiet/relatively well soundproofed. Beds are clean and comfy. Good shower water pressure too.The breakfast is marvellous but the dinner/all day menu has changed to a constricted version of what it was, which is a bit of a shame.

Stayed overnight at the Delta by Marriott Milton Keynes as we were in the area for an event. The hotel was clean, but the rooms are definitely starting to show their age and could do with an upgrade. The staff were very polite, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay, and the breakfast offered a good selection with plenty of decent options. It was perfectly adequate for a one-night stay and a good night's sleep, but I probably wouldn't choose to stay here for a longer visit.
