About Premier Inn Milton Keynes South

Premier Inn Milton Keynes South is a modern, three-storey hotel built along Caldecotte Lake, with 61 en-suite rooms and free parking to the front of the building. Its low-rise, functional design suits its setting on Lakeside Grove near Bletcham Way, within easy reach of the M1 at junction 14 and the surrounding business parks, making it a practical base for work trips as well as short breaks.

Rooms come with the usual Premier Inn comforts, and accessible rooms are available alongside an electric vehicle charge point in the car park. Some rooms have lake views, though upkeep can vary and a few have been noted as looking a little tired. A restaurant and bar on site serve breakfast with a wide selection, and guests have found the staff friendly and helpful throughout their stay.

Outside, the lakeside setting is good for walking, with cycling, fishing, golf and horse riding all available nearby, plus pubs and restaurants within easy reach for evenings out. It's a straightforward, well-placed option for anyone visiting Milton Keynes by car.

Nice location next to a lake, ample car parking. Smoke house next door. Room was clean and fresh, 2 fans for hot weather which worked well. Check in with cheerful receptionist. Smallish breakfast room but plenty of space when I went. Good quality food, everything I wanted. A very good service from a young man who gave me an almost personal service as if in a high class hotel, will stay again.

I've been to many Premier Inns and Travelodges over the years and they have always 'done the job'. I have to say that this Premier Inn was really good! Beautiful location next to a lake (it helped that the weather was stunning). I had a view of the lake from my very comfortable room. The restaurant next door (Hickory's) was excellent with good food and outside seating by the lake. Friendly service from the Premier Inn staff too. Next time I need to visit Milton Keynes, I'll definitely book here again

Well, it's a Premier Inn. Not a huge amount more to say than that. The breakfast is good as most Premier Inns are, the room was a good size and the bed comfortable. The hotel does feel a little tired and could do with a little TLC. The view out of the room was great, overlooking a lake (and bypass, but I could forgive that). Next door to the hotel is Hickory's Smoke House, now this is a bonus. Brilliant steak, and fantastic staff.
