It’s always a bit difficult to review a Premier Inn because they are so incredibly consistent across the country. Nothing wildly out of the ordinary stood out, but that’s because their everyday baseline is already a very high standard. I stayed here for four nights during some of the hottest days of the year, and thank goodness for the air conditioning in the rooms—it was a lifesaver. First things first for anyone booking: there are two Premier Inns in very close proximity to each other here. Make sure you check which one you’ve actually booked before heading inside (I managed to get the wrong one initially!). Let's start with the only real downside: the parking. Milton Keynes has some of the most confusing and complicated parking layouts I have ever experienced. The Premier Inn has its own dedicated spaces, but these are limited and come at a premium rate. The public parking outside is free between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM, and you can easily top it up using the RingGo app if you just need an hour or two in the morning. However, if you plan on leaving your car there all day, definitely try to secure a space in the hotel’s own parking lot if you can. As for the hotel itself, it’s Premier Inn through and through. I checked in with a staff member at the desk because I prefer the personal touch, but they do have self-service screens available in multiple languages for international travelers. The rooms feature the classic, familiar styling and were spotlessly clean. As always, the bed was absolutely luxurious and gave a great night's sleep. The room size is exactly what I’ve come to expect from the chain. The bathroom features a combined bathtub and shower layout; personally, I much prefer a dedicated walk-in shower, but that’s just down to individual preference. If you want a guaranteed comfortable, clean, and reliable stay in Milton Keynes, this hits the mark perfectly.

Clean, reasonably priced, and good air conditioning. Friendly staff too - Izi in particular is a real credit to the team. Very smiley and friendly, and went above and beyond. No phone in the room though which is a pain because the WiFi (even the ultimate WiFi) is awful, and there’s very little or no mobile signal in the building. And there is no way to call the reception directly from your mobile anyway - so even to ask a minor question, you have to go down to the front desk.

3 star hotel with 5 star service! A lovely team who were super helpful throughout our 5 day stay, with kids attending snowboarding camp close by. Comfortable bed, pillows, decent air conditioning and sufficient space. Close to amenities.

Weny for a higher grade room for the air con. Minimum 19C unacceptable. Had to remove duvet from cover. Hallways must have been 25C ( this was temp of room when we entered it). We travel quite a bit ( over 100 nights last year) never had aircon restricted like this before. Will not be back to premier inn. ( i wonder what the temp is in their offices).
