What visitors say
The comfortable seats and relaxing atmosphere made for a great movie-watching experience. The food was also delicious. I hope this cinema remains a staple for years to come. Let’s support this local gem. It’s a cinema worth being proud of. Parking was free for two hours but remember to log in your plate number before leaving. The friendly staff made the visit even better. I’ll definitely be back.

My little boy and I came to Omniplex last weekend to watch Toy Story 5, and I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of your staff, especially one lovely member of the team who made our visit so special. We were sitting upstairs in the avenue, and I had to pop downstairs quickly. While I was gone, my son got a bit overwhelmed and upset because he couldn’t see where I was. One of your young staff members noticed straight away, sat down on the floor with him, chatted to him, and helped calm him down until I came back. I’ve seen her working there a few times before and is always so smiley, friendly and helpful, but she was honestly amazing with my little boy. By the time I got back, he was smiling, chatting away, and completely back to himself. Her kindness meant so much to both of us. I’d also like to say how lovely all of the staff were. Everyone we spoke to was really friendly, welcoming and happy to help, and it made the whole experience so enjoyable. It’s such a nice atmosphere every time we visit. We will be back this weekend to watch minions and we absolutely cannot wait!

Lovely seats, plenty of room. Cool setting, visually interesting. Always slightly too hot and the food is overpriced and very average!

Honestly this is the nicest cinema I’ve ever been in. We usually do the Odeon Luxe in Durham and this is way better and also about half the price. The food is outstanding and everyone is really polite. We’ve done the normal screens (lovely) and the sofa bed screen (outstanding) and next time we’re going to do the avenue and get pizza delivered! I really hope people use this, it’s so much better than Cineworld and parking is free when validated in the cinema. We’ve switched now and we won’t go anywhere else, it’s such an experience!
