About St Cyrus Park
St Cyrus Park sprawls across open ground just back from the Aberdeenshire coastline, a few minutes' walk from the long sandy beach and the bird-filled cliffs of St Cyrus National Nature Reserve. The park operates year-round and takes tourers, motorhomes and tents alongside its static holiday homes, giving it a lived-in, slightly less manicured feel than purely seasonal sites—fine if you want a functional base rather than immaculate pitches.
Facilities cover the essentials: a shop, takeaway, café, play area and laundry, so families staying a few nights won't need to venture far for supplies. The setting between beach and low farmland feels open and quiet, though the park itself is fairly large and can lack intimacy in quieter months. St Cyrus village has a small shop and pub, while the nature reserve to the north is excellent for walkers, with red sandstone cliffs, wildflowers and nesting seabirds in summer. Montrose sits around 15 minutes south by car, handy for livelier days out without sacrificing the coast-and-countryside calm when you return.

What visitors say
Lovely location, close enough to Montrose to be practical but far enough to feel as though you are in the middle of nowhere. Seeing deer was just magical. Lovely walk down to the beach along a very quiet road

Was ok for the price and the caravan was adequately equipped. No facilities on site other than a launderette so be prepared to bring your own stuff or venture out in the car. St Cyrus has one mini supermarket although Montrose offered a lot more (6.5 miles away). Small playpark on site though I think there are better options nearer the beaches if you are taking children. The busy A92 road can be noisy as it is directly adjacent to the holiday park (it did not annoy my family but others have noticed the noise). The park seemed to have a mixed variety of customers, most of which looked like workers rather than tourists but I fould the overall week I stayed quiet and ok and the caravan itself was fine.

St Cyrus Holiday Park is a peaceful and well-kept site, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The park is small and calm with a friendly atmosphere, and there’s a lovely children’s play area too. Great views of the hills and close to St Cyrus beach. Ideal for families or anyone looking to unwind in nature. Highly recommend!

I bought a static caravan here in April '25. The staff were very helpful, especially Fiona, who has really put herself out to help me negotiate the process. It is quiet and peaceful here. Most people seem to be here long term. There is a pebble beach a short walk away. The sandy beaches are not far by car.
