Lhanbryde is a quiet village on the Moray coast, close enough to Elgin for its shops and restaurants yet surrounded by farmland and the wild stretch of shoreline where the River Spey meets the sea. Auldfield is a detached bungalow on one level (with a third bedroom upstairs), sleeping six across three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living spaces include a sitting room with Freesat, a dining room and a kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all provided. An enclosed garden with terrace and furniture sits at the rear, with views across farmland; there is parking for two cars on site. No smoking.
The Moray Coast itself draws people here. Shingle beaches at Kingston and Garmouth are the places to look for seals, dolphins and ospreys. Lossiemouth and Garmouth have proper sandy beaches a short drive away. Inland, the landscape stretches toward the Cairngorms. For specifics: Elgin Cathedral and the town's distilleries and Gordon and MacPhail's whisky shop are five miles south. Salmon and trout fishing is possible on the River Spey. Golf courses at Garmouth, Kingston and Maverston are within reach, as are the Baxters visitor centre, Walkers Shortbread Factory and the Whale and Dolphin Centre. A shop and pub are half a mile away; a restaurant is a mile distant.
