Ben Rinnes sits within reach of some of Moray's best outdoor pursuits. The village of Keith is just 3 miles away, and from here you can access fishing, golf courses, mountain biking trails and scenic walking routes across the region. The area's historical sites are scattered nearby, and the coast lies 14½ miles south. A pub and restaurant are 3 miles away. The 841-metre Ben Rinnes itself—a well-known hiking destination with views across eight counties from its summit—is the obvious draw for walkers staying in the surrounding countryside.
This one-bedroom glamping pod sleeps four and sits entirely on one level. The living space combines a sofa bed, dining area and kitchen in an open plan; a separate bedroom holds a double bed. A walk-in shower and toilet complete the bathroom. The kitchen has an electric hob, combination microwave and oven, dishwasher and fridge-freezer, so you can cook properly rather than relying on takeaways. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with a welcome pack; a travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
The pod's real distinction is its private hot tub set in a dedicated house with a glass roof—you can soak under the stars with views across the Moray countryside. Glass sliding doors open onto your own decking with seating and a BBQ. Parking for two cars and an electric vehicle charging point are on site. No smoking is permitted inside.

Amazing shorter walk, directly from parking lot. Do not forget to have enough water and some more clothes, as its chilly and windy on the top /even in July/.

Ben Rinnes is a Corbett (840 m / 2,756 ft) and a great short hike in Moray. The path runs directly from the car park to the summit and is well maintained throughout. On the steeper sections there are solid steps in place, which make the climb straightforward and steady 👣 The summit marker, covered in shiny metal, looks quite striking when you reach the top ✨ Even with low cloud and no views on our visit, it was still a very enjoyable outing. It took us around 2 hours 20 minutes in total, with approximately 553 m of ascent. A really good, not overly demanding hill for anyone who hikes regularly 🏔️

A nice warm up walking through the forest trail...briefly. Incline is steeper than it appears and may be more "advanced" for someone who hasn't had much practice. Views are pretty impressive although cloud can spoil once at the summit. Correct footwear is recommended if its been raining the day before as the peaty ground can be slippery on the decent. Highly recommend Komoot navigation and sticking to the navigation trail when wet! Great "hike" for focus. Oh, and found the painted stones placed by some several years ago, still looking pretty!

We went with a few friends from church, and it was an awesome hill walk last Saturday! There is a wee car park that could fill up quickly, so arrive early. No facilities, no signage, but if you stick to the rocky path, you'll reach the top in no time. It took us around 1:20, with a couple of breaks to enjoy the views midway. The dog got a tick though, so check thoroughly before leaving or when back home.
