Knockan is a single-storey glamping pod in rural Moray, near Keith. Everything you need for cooking and eating is built in—electric hob, combination microwave and oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer—and the open-plan layout means the kitchen flows into a comfortable living area with sofas, smart TV and direct access to your own decking. The bedroom has a double bed (4ft 6in) and smart TV; the shower room includes a walk-in shower. Travel cot and highchair are available if needed. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, along with oil underfloor heating and an electric vehicle charging point.
The real draw is outside: a private hot tub for four people sits under a glass roof, letting you watch the Moray countryside by day and the stars at night. There's decking with garden furniture, a BBQ house, and private parking for two cars. The area suits anyone wanting quiet countryside living—fishing, golf, mountain biking and woodland walks are all nearby, and a pub and restaurant lie 3 miles away. The beach is 14½ miles off. One dog is welcome. No smoking inside.

Good place for a dog walk if there are not many cars parked and the turbines are not being worked on. Be careful if your dog struggles with livestock as there are sheep all around and for a time there were cattle roaming inside the fenced areas.
