Cluny

Forres and the surrounding Moray landscape sit at the gateway to both Speyside and the Cairngorms, with the coast within easy reach. Cluny occupies its own patch within 28 acres of private woodland, a detached lodge that gives you genuine seclusion without isolation—the market town is just minutes away when you need supplies or a meal out.

The lodge sleeps four across two bedrooms: a double and a twin. Downstairs is open-plan, with a living space that has a wood-effect electric heater, a smart TV and DVD player, a dining area, and a kitchen where you can prepare proper meals. The bathroom has a bath with shower, and everything sits on the ground floor. A paved terrace looks out over the grounds, and you have parking for two cars on site. One small or medium dog can stay free, making the woodland setting and network of local walks genuinely useful rather than just scenic.

Bed linen and towels are provided, along with heating and electricity. There's a shared laundry room with washers and dryers if you need it. A lochan (small loch) sits within the grounds; this is fenced. The 28 acres are yours to roam, with seating areas dotted through the woodland. Forres has shops and restaurants; Speyside distilleries, coastal towns and hill walking are all within reach for day trips.
