On the Isle of Lewis, the village of Uig sits where the landscape opens towards the Atlantic, and Carnish Lodge commands a position above the bay's sweep of white sand and dunes. The traditional croft house faces west across unbroken views of beach, dunes and water—a setting where the light shifts constantly through the day and where golden eagles are year-round residents. Deer herds move through most mornings, dolphins and porpoises work the bay, and on clear nights the Milky Way is visible to the naked eye.
The three bedrooms and two bathrooms suit families or small groups staying together as a complete property. Living spaces are arranged to frame the landscape through their windows, with an open fire in the sitting room and a kitchen equipped for cooking proper meals. Outside, a sheltered enclosed garden catches the long Hebridean evenings. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included; the essentials for a self-catering stay are covered.
Miles of sand and dune run along the doorstep—walking, swimming and exploring are immediate. The local café, shop, restaurant and small museum lie ten minutes' drive around the bay; Stornoway's supermarkets and services are an hour away. No smoking inside, please. Dogs are welcome. Check-in is after 4:30pm and checkout before 9:30am.

We stopped in the seapink cabin. What a place. Simply stunning. We cannot fault the cabin at all. Bed and mattress were comfortable, cabin was always cosy. Beautiful views from the window. Wildlife. Sea eagle over the cabin. Unreal!!! Deer, rabbits, stonechat, wheatear, gulls, plenty of waders in the bay and a Raven which was picking off youngsters at will on the hill. Mountains at the back provided Golden Eagles. Wonderful, wonderful!!!!
