Bert’s Cottage

Bert's Cottage is thoroughly equipped for self-catering: the kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine and all the usual appliances, while the living room includes a TV and DVD player. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included. The cottage sleeps five across three bedrooms—a king, two zip-and-link singles, and a single—with one bathroom upstairs. Downstairs there is also a separate toilet. A travel cot and highchair are available if you ask.

The property is a semi-detached Victorian cottage near St Mary's Church in the Cemetery area of the New Forest, with an enclosed garden, patio furniture and barbecue, plus parking for two cars on site. One pet stays free. The village centre is within walking distance, offering shops, pubs and restaurants. Watersports, horse riding and golf are nearby, and the New Forest itself is on your doorstep with walking trails, the Wildlife Park and family attractions within reach. Beaches at Bournemouth and Poole, Winchester and Salisbury, and day trips to the Isle of Wight are all accessible as day visits. No smoking inside the cottage.
