Brookside Cottage

Brookside Cottage sits alone along a quiet lane, with fields behind and the New Forest National Park on your doorstep. The property sleeps eight across four bedrooms—a single and kingsize on the first floor, a double, and a fourth with two singles plus a pull-out bed. There is one bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs, an open-plan kitchen and dining room with a Rayburn and French doors lead to a large garden; a separate living room has an open fire. Initial logs are included.

The essentials—electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels—come as standard. One dog stays free, and a welcome pack with doggy extras is provided. You get parking for three cars on site. The cottage is no-smoking throughout. A pub lies within a mile, and Burley village, about the same distance away, has shops, tea rooms and eateries. Walking, cycling and bridleways through the Forest are immediate, and the roaming ponies, donkeys and cattle are part of daily life here.
