This is a period cottage with the solid character of an older building, located on Burley Street in the heart of the New Forest. It's a private property sleeping four across two bedrooms—one with a king bed, one with a double—plus a family bathroom upstairs. Downstairs holds a living room and separate dining room, each with a woodburner, and a kitchen equipped with an Aga and the usual appliances including a dishwasher and washing machine. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; initial fuel for the woodburners is provided, further supplies at cost.
Outside there's a front garden with a firepit and sitting area, a BBQ, a bike store, and parking for two cars. The cottage sits in Burley village itself, where you'll find tea rooms, pubs, a cycle hire shop, gift shops and an ice cream parlour within walking distance. The New Forest's ponies, cattle and donkeys roam freely through the village, and the forest and heathland begin right from the property—good for immediate walks or for cycling via the network of local paths. The coastline with beaches at Bournemouth, Sandbanks and Mudeford is a short drive away. The property is for adults only and operates a no-smoking policy.
