New Forest Cottages - Alice’s Lodge

The New Forest sprawls across 219 square miles of heathland and woodland, threaded with walking and cycling trails. Alice's Lodge sits on the edge of this landscape, with a gate from its enclosed garden opening straight onto the parkland. It's a single-storey wing of a larger property, private and self-contained, sleeping three people—a double bedroom, a sofa bed suitable for one adult or two children, and a shower room with grab rail.

The open-plan living space has everything needed for a break away from it all: a kitchen with oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher for cooking, a living area with smart TV and DVD player, and an outdoor terrace for sitting. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. The two-acre grounds are shared but the lodge itself is yours alone. One dog stays free, and there's parking for two cars on site.

Burley village, with tea rooms and shops, is six miles away. Ringwood and Fordingbridge are nearby for supplies and eating out. The Dorset coast and various attractions across Hampshire and Dorset make good day trips from here. No smoking inside.
