Flanders Cottage

The New Forest offers miles of woodland walks, coastal villages along the Solent, and the market towns of Hampshire and Dorset within reach. Lymington itself is a working port town with independent shops and restaurants; from here you can explore the forest on foot or cycle, visit ponies grazing freely, or drive to Christchurch, Ringwood and the Dorset coast.

Flanders Cottage is a thatched house with four bedrooms and three bathrooms, sleeping up to eight. The ground floor holds two living spaces—one with an open fire, the other with a television—plus a well-equipped kitchen with an Aga, induction hob, and everything needed to cook properly. The main bedroom upstairs has a king bed and ensuite; the other three bedrooms have doubles or singles, each with its own bathroom. Heating, electricity, wi-fi and bed linen are provided. Outside, there is a private swimming pool open from May to the end of September, a garden with seating and a barbecue, and parking for four cars; an electric vehicle charging point is available.

This is a house for a group—a family gathering, friends on holiday together, or a celebration. One well-behaved pet can stay at no extra cost. Smoking is not permitted inside.
