About Stepping Stones B&B
Tucked away on a quiet residential close in Lymington, Stepping Stones B&B sits within easy reach of both the New Forest and the Solent coastline, making it a handy base for exploring the woodland tracks inland or the water and sailing life along the shore. The setting is calm and suburban rather than scenic in itself, but the surrounding countryside and coast are close at hand.
Rooms are en-suite and come with drinks making facilities, and breakfast is included to set guests up for the day. There's a garden and outdoor seating area for relaxing when the weather allows, free WiFi throughout, and practical extras such as a laundry service, packed lunches for days out, and childcare on request. Reception operates around the clock, so arrival times are flexible.
Golf, fishing and entertainment can all be found nearby, along with a choice of pubs, bars and restaurants for evening meals. Free on-site parking is provided, which makes this a straightforward option for those wanting to explore Lymington and the surrounding New Forest and coast without worrying about where to leave the car.
What guests say
Stepping Stones was the perfect place for us to stay. Quiet but convenient. We were on our way home from the Isle of Wight and wanted a couple of days to see Sammy Millers and Beaulieu. Carol and Alan were the perfect hosts. Friendly and welcoming. Carol was able to point us in the direction of an excellent pub to eat at at night. The breakfasts were faultless. The room was clean, airy and spacious. Off-road parking was available. Carol detailed a route home for us taking us past places of interest. I would not hesitate to stay here again. My husband's only complaint was that we only stayed two days and so he could only have two breakfasts!

Carol is a native Scottish native from Glasgow. It's evident in more than just her dialect. The B&B exudes Scottish hospitality, warmth, and attention to detail. The bed is a dream, the room super cozy, and the bathroom wonderfully tidy. Parking is available in front of the house, and Carol will fulfill your every wish at breakfast. She also provides tons of tips on the surrounding area and restaurants. Unfortunately, we could only stay one night—we would have loved to stay longer.

One of the best experiences we've had in respect of a B&B. 5* for cleanliness, service, breakfasts, facilities & home made breads & cakes. The hosts were amazing & we received 5* treatment. We spent 3 nights here & would definitely come back again. Good size room & shower & a large comfortable bed with plenty of cupboard space. Can't praise this place enough. Amazing trails to go for walks in the new forest as well as coastal drives & walks. Fabulous restaurants with some fine dining & great pubs too & a lovely Saturday Market. An all round Great experience!

What a lovely B&B! We were treated so well. The room was exceptional and breakfast each day was outstanding! It is very close to the coast and located right inside the New Forest National Park. I can't recommend it enough!
