About Village Hotel Newcastle
Village Hotel Newcastle suits business travellers attending meetings at Cobalt Business Park as much as families or couples wanting a straightforward stay with decent leisure facilities. With 157 rooms across four floors, it has the scale to handle conferences and weddings alongside everyday overnight stays, and the location makes it an easy stop for anyone working or passing through this part of Newcastle upon Tyen.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and the option of family rooms and accessible rooms, with room service and drinks in room available for those who'd rather not leave. The showers and general cleanliness are a strength, and staff are generally friendly, though service can be inconsistent at busier times. Breakfast is served on-site, along with a restaurant, bar and snack bar, and kids' meals are catered for.
The gym, indoor pool, sauna and steam room are the standout facilities here, well worth building a stay around rather than treating as an afterthought. Business services and meeting rooms cover work trips, while golf, pubs and restaurants nearby give options for downtime. On-site parking is available but chargeable.

What guests say
I stayed at Village Hotel for a hen party recently and we all had a great stay. Check in was very easy, really straightforward and rooms all modern and really tidy. Didn't use many facilities sadly as a hen party we had many things planned in town but we did grab a Starbucks on route to town and Hayley was absolutely lovely. We ate breakfast in the restaurant part and have to say the brekky was brilliant!! so much choice, very well stocked and staff were nice - especially Chloe the young girl on breakfast shift. She was really chatty and made us feel totally welcome and relaxed despite us being a large group of hungover women - nothing was a trouble to her ,infact she even sorted some fried eggs for some of us. Lovely girl! We will definitely return soon and try the pool and bar etc overall good value and a really enjoyable stay. Kirsty x

My first time staying with this hotel chain. Easy to locate with plenty of onsite parking included in your stay. Great hotel with fabulous facilities. The rooms were a good size with comfy beds. The bath was a little slippy trying to get into the shower, I still have the black knee to prove it. The evening meal ordered at the bar was very filling and hit the spot after a busy day. It took some time to get to sleep due to the partying out the front of the hotel, directly under my 2nd floor room. Shutting the window quietened it a little, but unfortunately I was then awoken by how hot the room was. I opened the window in the very Early hours to the continuing noise of other guests still outside. Not something anyone could do much about, apparently there had been a bare knuckle fighting event on near by. Breakfast was superb, you do need to ask for fried eggs, but everything else was available to help yourself. The hash browns were absolutely spot on. I would stay with this chain again. There's a gym and a pool if you have time to enjoy those facilities.

I recently stayed at Village Hotel Newcastle and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had great facilities, but what really stood out was the exceptional service from Alex on reception. From the moment I arrived, she was welcoming, professional, and genuinely friendly. She made the check-in process quick and easy, took the time to answer my questions, and ensured I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Her positive attitude, attention to detail, and excellent customer service made a real difference and created a great first impression of the hotel. It’s always refreshing to encounter staff who go above and beyond, and Alex is a real credit to the Village Hotel team. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable—I look forward to returning in the future.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. I must say how great all the staff are! They were so friendly and welcoming and happy to answer questions on the phone before I arrived. Then when I got there they were all so helpful too. I wish I took the lovely blonde ladies name at breakfast today and yesterday because she was so amazing with my allergies and always on the ball. They helped me when I had a noise complaint, and I loved the pool facilities! I recommend going on the hydro massage chair its amazing!!! I was happy with the room too I liked the decor. The main plus is definately the staff you keep people like myself happy and relaxed so THANK YOU!!! it meant a lot to me as I was on a care break.
