What visitors say
This is a great place to walk. We went for the free fun annual day out. There was so much to do for the kids. Different animals to look at and hold. Free face painting and glitter tattoos. Lots of freebies too. Great family day out.

Welcoming, clean, comfortable visitors centre! Good exhibition, lovely cafe (particularly enjoyed the scones!) The windfarm itself has good tracks and is free from dog muck, good surface for my pram. I will definitely visit again.

What a great wee place. Firstly the cafe is so reasonable, food is great and staff are so kind (Micky and Laura!). Then theres the wee bus tour round the windmills, where the lovely blonde lady booked us in easy peasy and Mark the driver has an unreasonable amount of knowledge about them and a great sense of humour to keep us all smiling. Theres hands on stuff for the kids and in-depth info for the adults. Toilets clean and baby friendly! 10/10 no notes 🥰

Lovely place to walk the dog with lots of different routes to take. Roads are graveled but mucky. Suitable for prams and wheelchairs. Views are fantastic even on a dreich day like today. Wee cafe in the visitors centre does an amazing bacon roll with a hot drink for just £5.40. I'll definitely be bak here again. Hopefully in nicer weather 😂

They also highlight the well-maintained visitor center, which features informative exhibits, spotless restrooms, and a cafe with reasonably priced food and drinks. Guests mention the staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, especially the bus tour guides.
