i had a really lovely time visiting the cat sanctuary on wednesday afternoon. the volunteers were welcoming and friendly, and the cats were very friendly too!! there are plenty of the cats that enjoy meeting and getting affection from visitors so it was a great experience for a cat lover. they seem to be very well cared for with plenty of choices of where to spend their time. it was easy to catch the bus from Douglas to right outside the sanctuary, and I'd highly recommend it to other IoM holiday makers who like cats

Great place just outside Douglas where cats are looked after and if suitable rehomed. Payment in the form of a donation of cat food there are plenty of cats on site, most of who are free to roam around. Some are very friendly and will sit on your lap, some want to play and some are just happy snoozing in their retirement home. They all seem very well looked after as does the horse, donkey and the other animals that live with them. Well worth a visit if you are a cat lover on holiday in the IOM and are missing your cats while you are away.

Lovely place, cats were very friendly and the volunteers are doing such great work. They've also got chickens, ducks, geese and ponies.
