I had a fantastic time on the Chimney Lift! I would recommend you get there about half an hour before your time slot, so you can learn about the power station before the lift. It was very interesting and I saw the changes of the power station growing up as a kid in London! It’s well organised and the experience was great! Just wished that we could have had more time at the top! All the staff were friendly and helpful. I bought some digital photos afterwards and they wouldn’t download onto my phone. But a nice chap gave me a hand and it eventually worked! Just needed WIFI to do it! Definitely recommend going up to enjoy the 360 degree views of London, especially on a sunny day! There’s fans inside the lift, so it’s nice and co at the top!

Visited Lift 109 at Battersea Power Station in December and had a great experience. The views across London were brilliant, especially with all the Christmas lights and the city lit up at night — definitely made it feel more special. The staff were engaging, friendly, and had a good sense of humour which really added to the experience. We also enjoyed the interactive exhibition beforehand; it gave some interesting background on the history of Battersea Power Station and made the whole attraction feel more worthwhile. No queues which was a bonus seeing some of the other reviews. 🙃 Yes, it is a bit pricey, but it’s one of those experiences you should do at least once.

Enjoyed the over all experience. There a lot build up to going up. Kind of like at theme park. A bit history and some artifacts. Walking to different waiting areas and then up for a 5 min view. The views were great on a clear day and lot information about what you can see. Timed entertaining meant less waiting so that good too.

I love the concept here, converting an old power plant into a modern shopping centre with a destination attraction like the Chimney Lift built right in. I visited on a Monday afternoon in July and was surprised by how empty it was, which made for a really relaxed experience. The ride up is unique. It's pretty cool ascending inside what feels like a spaceship-like platform, and all the staff were friendly throughout. The view from the top is gorgeous, you can see quite far in every direction. The whole experience lasts about 10-15 minutes, and honestly, that's all you need. I'd recommend it to anyone who appreciates engineering and inventive design. That said, if you're only coming for the view and you've already been to other high viewpoints around the world, this probably won't wow you. Come with a realistic mindset and you'll enjoy it for what it is.
