10 The Apostles

Catacol on the northwest coast of Arran is a quiet village on the shore, a few miles from Lochranza, where walking routes lead inland towards glens and lochs or along the coastal road. The area is known for rare native trees and wildlife including red deer, golden eagles, seals and otters. 10 The Apostles is one of a distinctive row of cottages just yards from the beach.

The cottage has three bedrooms—two doubles and a single—sleeping five, plus one bathroom with a shower. Downstairs, an open-plan living space contains a woodburner, a kitchen with electric cooking, and a separate utility room with a dishwasher and laundry appliances. Essentials including Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are provided, along with initial fuel for the stove during winter. An enclosed front garden with seating looks onto the village and shore.
