11 The Apostles comes ready for a complete holiday. The kitchen has everything needed for self-catering: electric oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer. Upstairs, a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer means you can do laundry during your stay. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are all included, along with heating to keep the cottage warm. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available if needed.

The cottage sits in Catacol, a tiny village on Arran's west coast, just yards from the beach. Downstairs, the living room has a smart TV, Freesat and DVD player, plus a woodburner for cooler evenings. Three bedrooms sleep four: a double and two single beds across the rooms. The bathroom has a bath with shower over. Outside, an enclosed garden with seating and patio furniture faces the water. One dog is welcome. No smoking inside.

Arran is part of a National Scenic Area and, since 2025, a UNESCO Global Geopark. The location suits walkers, golfers and those wanting to explore the island's wildlife and mountain views, or simply sit by the fire listening to the sea.
