The Green

The Green is a single-storey holiday home in Catacol on the northwest coast of Isle of Arran. Everything you need for self-catering is here: the kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine, while the open-plan living space centres on a wood burner and looks out over the Kilbrannan Sound towards Kintyre. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all included, as is the initial fuel for the stove.

Three bedrooms sleep up to six: a king, a double, and two singles. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower cubicle. The whole property is on the ground floor, accessed via two steps to the entrance. Outside, a lawned garden with seating areas, a firepit and barbecue offer space to relax; private parking fits three cars. One dog can stay free of charge. Smoking is not permitted indoors.

The hamlet of Catacol sits on a quieter stretch of Arran's coastline, away from the busier south and east of the island. The property suits families, groups of friends, or anyone wanting a peaceful coastal base with straightforward access to walking and the island's historic sites.
