Clachog suits families and larger groups needing space to spread out. The four bedrooms sleep eight across a kingsize, another kingsize, and two twin rooms, with three bathrooms so mornings run smoothly. Everything you need for self-catering is here: a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and electric cooking, a washing machine and tumble dryer, and heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Wi-Fi keeps you connected if you need it.

The house sits in the centre of Lamlash on the Isle of Arran, positioned high enough to catch views over the bay towards Holy Isle and the boatyard. Living spaces open onto balconies through bi-fold doors. Downstairs there's a separate utility room and cupboard stocked with books and games. Three parking spaces sit on site, and the rear garden is enclosed, with a patio and outdoor furniture. The property doesn't allow smoking.

This is a practical base for exploring Arran's coastal walks and water activities. The ferry terminal is within reach, and Lamlash Bay itself draws wildlife and leisure boats year-round. Families with young children will find a travel cot, highchair and stairgate available.
