Lamlash sits on Arran's eastern shore, facing the Firth of Clyde and the nearby Holy Isle. This traditional cottage, tucked behind Hamilton Terrace, is a Grade II listed building that has been refurbished with modern heating throughout. The ground floor contains a living room, open-plan kitchen and dining area, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs are two further bedrooms: a second double and a single, suitable for a child. The property sleeps 5 maximum—up to 4 adults and 1 child under 10.
The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine, and tumble dryer. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. A back garden with seating area and furniture provides outdoor space, and there is parking for one car on site. The cottage does not permit smoking.
Lamlash itself is small and walkable. A supermarket on the main street stays open late most days and houses a post office; a restaurant and bar are nearby, along with a local café a short walk away. Holy Isle, just offshore, is accessible by boat and offers nature trails through wildflower meadows and woodland. The village serves as a practical base for exploring the wider island.
