Lamlash sits on one of Arran's most rewarding stretches of coast. The village has four pubs serving food, two tea rooms, and a working jetty where ferries depart for the Holy Isle. Seals rest on the rocks in the bay year-round, and sea otters, basking sharks and porpoises are spotted regularly from the shore. The standing stones at Machrie Moor and King's Cave are within reach by car, as are the Giants Graves burial site and other prehistoric remains scattered across the island.
Ivybank Cottage is a small, traditional property kept warm by an air source heating system. Downstairs you have a living room with a 28" TV and DVD player, a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine, and a wet room with shower and toilet. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with two singles. The cottage sleeps four. Parking is available on site for one car, with additional off-road spaces nearby. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; pets stay free.
A shared garden with decking runs behind the property, with views across the village and bay from the upper section. A small patio with furniture faces towards the sea. The cottage sits yards from the waterfront and next to the owner's home. No smoking is permitted inside.
