Brodick spreads across the eastern shore of Arran, with the mountain Goatfell rising behind it. Goatfell View sits in the quieter Strathwhilian area, set back from the main streets but within easy reach of the shops, restaurants and beach. The property is a lower ground floor apartment on a residential street, with parking for two cars outside and a large enclosed garden at the back where you can sit on the patio or cook on the barbecue.

Three bedrooms sleep eight: a kingsize with an ensuite and children's bunks; a second kingsize; and two singles. The main bathroom has a bath and walk-in shower. Downstairs, the living room and dining room both have televisions, and the kitchen is properly equipped with an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. There is also a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a travel cot and highchair are available if needed. The essentials—heating, linen, towels and Wi-Fi—are included. All the main rooms are on the lower ground floor, which is accessed by a single step from the street.

The living room and one bedroom look out towards Goatfell. The beach, play park and golf club are all within walking distance. Smoking is not permitted.
