Harport
North Ayrshire

Harport suits families and groups wanting a full house to themselves rather than shared accommodation. The cottage is detached with three double bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping up to six. Parking for three cars sits on the property, though the driveway is shared with another holiday let at the rear. The ground floor holds a living room and dining room, each with an open fire, plus a kitchen with a range cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs, all three bedrooms are doubles. Essentials like electricity, heating, wifi, bed linen and towels come as standard; initial fuel for the fires is included, and there's a travel cot and highchair if needed.
The house opens onto a substantial lawned garden front and back, with outdoor furniture for taking in the views across Lamlash Bay towards Holy Isle. Large windows flood the rooms with light, and the dining room bay window frames the water. Lamlash sits on the North Ayrshire coast, a quiet village with a beach, golf club, restaurants and a children's playpark within easy reach. Brodick, the main settlement on the Isle of Arran, lies three miles away and serves as a base for exploring the island's hills; Goatfell is a popular walk. The nearest shops, pub and restaurant are a quarter-mile down the road. No smoking is permitted inside.
