St Brides
North Ayrshire
Lamlash Bay curves around this stretch of North Ayrshire coast, and St Brides sits right on the water's edge. The village itself—with its beach, shops, restaurants and play park—lies within easy walking distance. Holy Isle rises prominently across the bay, visible from the property's main rooms and from the front garden, which slopes down towards the shore.
The house is a detached Victorian villa with four bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping eight. The ground floor holds a living room with an open fire and window seats facing the water, a separate smaller sitting room with a TV and Nintendo Wii, and a kitchen-dining room where the family can eat together. Upstairs, a kingsize bedroom with en-suite and three further bedrooms (one kingsize, two with singles) share a bathroom. Central heating and electricity are included, along with bed linen, towels and wifi. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering—oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. An external utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer; a travel cot and highchair are available.
The front garden is large with a sitting-out area and space to park three cars. Smoking is not permitted inside. The property suits families or groups of friends wanting a base to explore Arran and the Ayrshire coast, with the beach on the doorstep and the bay's geography framing every view.
