Brodick sits on the eastern shore of Arran, where the Isle's main town spreads along a bay framed by mountains across the water. Highview occupies an elevated position in a quiet area, taking in those views and the changing light over the bay. The cottage is set entirely at ground level and sleeps seven across four bedrooms: a kingsize with ensuite shower, a double, two singles in one room, and a single in another. There is a family bathroom with bath and shower.
The living spaces flow together on one level—a combined lounge and dining area with woodburner, Smart TV and patio doors opening onto decking, where you can sit with the views. The kitchen has electric cooking, a dishwasher, microwave and American-style fridge. A utility room holds a washing machine and tumble dryer. Essentials like wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are provided, along with initial fuel for the woodburner. A travel cot and highchair are available.
Outside there is rear garden with decking and furniture, secure bike storage, and parking for four cars. No smoking inside. The location suits families and groups wanting a base to explore the island—mountain biking, beaches, villages and outdoor activities are within reach—or simply somewhere to watch the bay change through the seasons.
