Ingleside is a detached stone house in Whiting Bay, on the Isle of Arran's east coast. Built generations ago, it retains period character despite recent updates—the living room centres on an open fire, and a wood burner warms the dining area where you can settle in after a day out. Three bedrooms and a bathroom occupy the first floor; downstairs holds a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, a utility room, and a separate toilet. Parking for two cars is on site, and the enclosed gardens front and back have seating areas.
The location is the main draw: Ingleside sits at the start of the footpath to Glenashdale Falls and the Giants Graves, a circular walk that climbs through woodland to a viewing platform. From there, forestry paths continue to Lamlash or Kildonan for those wanting to explore further. Whiting Bay village is a short walk away, with a restaurant, bar, café, post office and small shop, plus a putting green and bowling green. The property suits families or groups wanting a base for walking and outdoor time; one pet is welcome. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included, along with fuel for both fires. There are two steps into the garden, and a shared driveway with the neighbouring property.
