Redhurst Cottage

Redhurst Cottage is a three-bedroom house sleeping up to seven, privately owned and restored for independent holidays on the Isle of Arran. The ground floor opens into a living room with Freeview TV, then a kitchen and dining room equipped for cooking, plus a utility room with washing machine and a sun room. A shower room with heated towel rail completes this level. Upstairs are three bedrooms: two with double beds and one with a double and single, giving flexible sleeping arrangements. The property has one bathroom throughout. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included.

A lawned garden with seating area and furniture surrounds the cottage, and there is parking for three cars on site. The beach lies about 100 yards away. The village of Lamlash sits on the east coast facing the Holy Isle. One pet stays free of charge, though the property is non-smoking. The house has steep and narrow stairs in places. Arran itself offers more than the typical island holiday: distillery tours and tastings, local food producers from cheese to chocolate, walking routes across varied terrain, and seasonal festivals throughout the year.
