Outside, an enclosed, lawned garden offers space to sit and a place for children to play safely. Depending on the season, dolphins and porpoises appear offshore; red squirrels and rabbits are regulars in the garden. Whiting Bay lies two miles away, where shops, pubs, restaurants and a beach are within easy reach. Kildonan, further south, draws visitors for its beach and wildlife spotting. Private parking for two cars is on site. The garden has sloping banks and there is a step to the entrance; steep stairs are present inside the property.
