The main living space is open plan, with a kitchen, dining area and sitting room all flowing together on the lower level. French doors lead from here onto a large patio furnished with garden chairs, looking out toward mature trees and the rural landscape beyond. A wood burner provides warmth on cooler evenings. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher and all the basics—while Wi-Fi keeps you connected if needed.

Two bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms, are on the ground floor up a few steps. One has a kingsize bed with Freeview TV; the other has two single beds. Bed linen, towels and heating are included. The location is genuinely rural—good for stargazing on clear nights—yet the A377 is close enough that Exeter and Barnstaple are reachable within an hour. The coast at Westward Ho! and the Hartland Heritage Coast are worth the drive for a day out, and the surrounding lanes suit walks with a dog.
