Gunns Apartments is a first-floor flat above an art gallery in Lynton's Victorian centre, with the coast less than a mile away and the Valley of the Rocks just beyond that. The Valley itself—a dramatic dry valley running parallel to the shoreline—is worth the short walk alone. Watersmeet, a National Trust-run Victorian fishing lodge inland with waterfalls and woodland paths, is nearby, and Exmoor National Park spreads behind the town with over 600 miles of marked routes through open moorland.

The apartment has one double bedroom, a living room with a smart TV, a kitchen with oven and hob for proper cooking, and a bathroom with a bath and shower. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included. There is access to a small shared garden with patio and furniture. Parking is on the road or in the public car park behind the property. The property is not suitable for children under 16, and smoking is not permitted.

Lynton itself is a working Victorian town rather than a theme park—you'll find independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. The twin village of Lynmouth, down towards the river mouth, has harbourside pubs and a different character worth exploring.
