Gunns Apartments - The Loft

The Loft occupies the upper storey of a traditional terraced building that sits above an art gallery in Lynton, a small Victorian town on the northern edge of Exmoor National Park. The apartment is yours alone: one bedroom with a king-size bed, a bathroom with bath and shower, a living room with a smart TV, and a kitchen/dining room fitted with a full range of appliances including a dishwasher and washing machine. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. The only thing to know is there are 11 steps down to the shared garden area, and a footpath leads to the apartment entrance.

Lynton sits within walking distance of the Valley of the Rocks, a dramatic dry valley running parallel to the coastline. Watersmeet, a Victorian fishing lodge now run by the National Trust, lies inland with notable waterfalls nearby. Over 600 marked footpaths cross the National Park's rugged terrain, and many walks begin right from the property. The town itself has pubs, cafés, tea rooms, and independent shops within easy reach. The coast is less than a mile away. Children under 16 are not accommodated, and smoking is not permitted.
