You walk straight into The Milking Parlour's living room with its wood burner and doors onto an enclosed garden where a sheltered hot tub overlooks the valley. The kitchen-diner sits opposite, fully equipped for cooking proper meals. Underfloor heating keeps the place warm throughout, and there is Wi-Fi throughout. Three bedrooms upstairs sleep seven: two kingsize beds that split into singles if needed, plus a third kingsize with an extra single pull-out. Two bathrooms service the rooms, one with an en-suite shower. Parking for three cars sits outside your private entrance.
The surrounding landscape is quiet and rural, with Sheffield accessible by car. The enclosed garden has patio seating, and the hot tub takes six adults. One pet is welcome. Bed linen, towels, electricity and heating are covered. Non-smokers only. Families with young children can request a cot and highchair if needed. If your group wants more space, the property's neighbour The Cow Shed is available to book alongside this one, with a gate connecting both gardens.

We had a lovely stay at Shady Hall Farm. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable, and child-friendly. The hot tub was a real bonus and made our stay even more enjoyable. It was easy to get to and conveniently located close enough to Sheffield, where we were attending a wedding. We would happily stay again and would definitely recommend it.

We had a lovely family week at the Stone Barn in early July. It is modern, very clean and extremely peaceful and scenic. At this price point, you'd be hard pushed to do better. It is family-run and they are super-responsive when you ask questions. They are genuinely dog-friendly too.

We recently stayed in The Stone Barn at Shady Hall Farm for three nights as a family and had a wonderful experience. The property was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the living areas felt welcoming. We particularly appreciated the peaceful surroundings, the lovely enclosed garden and the relaxing hot tub. The location of the property was ideal for visiting nearby attractions, while still feeling like a countryside retreat. Communication from the hosts was very good throughout, and they were friendly, helpful, and responsive. Overall, The Stone Barn was a lovely place for a family getaway. We wouldn't hesitate to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable break.

We booked the Milking Parlour which had the most amazing scenic view from the back garden which was secure & safe for the dogs not to mention the best place for the hot tub!! This property is ideal for family 'get aways'.Our hosts were very accommodating of our needs & requests for extras eg cot,high chair. It is incredibly dog friendly too. The surrounding views are awesome and it's a very quiet & peaceful place to stay. A short drive out of the farm takes you to a variety of shops,supermarkets & eating places.
