Bacton Beach House

Bacton Beach House suits couples and families after a straightforward coastal break. This single-level lodge sits directly on the beach with its own gate onto the sand and the Norfolk Coastal Path beyond. There are two bedrooms – one with a kingsize bed and French doors onto a decking area, the other with two singles – and a bathroom with both bath and shower. The open-plan living space has French doors opening onto a patio, which is where you'll spend most mornings and evenings if the weather allows. On-site parking for one car is included, alongside wi-fi, heating, bed linen and towels.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking: oven, hob, microwave, air fryer, dishwasher and washing machine mean you're not reliant on local takeaways, though the village has fish and chips, a café, restaurants and pubs within reach. For families, Rainbow's End Park is nearby, and the immediate area around Bacton offers woodland walks and beach exploration. No smoking is allowed in the property. The lodge is not designed as a luxury destination – it's a comfortable base for people who want to wake up near the water and step straight onto the beach.
