Blakeney Quayside Cottages - Hollyhock Cottage
North Norfolk
Photo: Google Maps
Hollyhock Cottage is a traditional terraced property in Blakeney, the kind of place where narrow streets slope down to the water's edge and the quay sits at the heart of village life. Built into a row with character to spare, it has the look and feel of north Norfolk coastal living. You get the whole place to yourself: ground floor with an open-plan living and dining space, a kitchen equipped for everyday cooking, and a bathroom with bath and shower; upstairs, a double bedroom with an ensuite shower room, and a twin room.
Essentials are sorted—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge, so proper meals are straightforward. There's a freeview TV in the living room and another in the double bedroom. Outside is a shared lawned garden with seating and furniture. One well-behaved dog stays free. No smoking indoors.
Blakeney itself draws walkers, cyclists and bird watchers to the salt marshes and coastal paths. Crabbing from the quay is a traditional pursuit. Wells-next-the-Sea lies west along the coast; Sheringham and Cromer to the east. The sea is within a mile. Parking is on road or at a nearby public car park.
