Blakeney Quayside Cottages - The Bittern
North Norfolk
The Bittern is a traditional terraced cottage in the village of Blakeney, where narrow streets slope down to the quayside and salt marshes. You arrive into a ground-floor living and dining space with a freeview TV and electric fire, with the kitchen alongside equipped for cooking from scratch—oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine included. One double and one kingsize bedroom are on the ground floor; the kingsize has an ensuite shower. A single bedroom is upstairs, served by a separate shower room. This layout suits a family or two couples, with a travel cot and highchair available if needed. One dog stays free. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are included; central heating runs on Economy 7 rates. No smoking inside.
Blakeney itself offers seafront walks and the quay is close by—crabbing is a traditional pursuit here. The village has shops and restaurants within easy reach. A pub stands within a mile. Heading further afield, Wells-next-the-Sea, Holkham, Cromer and Sheringham are all within reasonable distance and offer beaches, more quaysides and salt marshes to explore. Bird watchers, walkers and cyclists find the area well-suited to their interests. Parking is on road or at a nearby public car park.
