Norfolk Riverside Cottages - Maud
North Norfolk

Maud sits on the banks of the River Ant at Stalham Staithe, a conservation hamlet where the water and countryside shape everything about staying here. You walk into a single open-plan space that combines living, dining and kitchen in one room—freeview television, a DVD player, electric cooker and microwave all in one area. A shower room and bedroom complete the layout, everything at ground level. The kitchen has what you need to cook; heating is electric; wifi, bed linen and towels come as standard.
Outside, a half-acre of grassed space wraps around the property with garden furniture and a barbecue. River fishing is possible from the site (a licence is required). One car parks on the grounds. The River Ant runs alongside unfenced, so the location matters if you have young children or are bringing a dog. You're a few minutes' walk from the Norfolk Broads Museum; Wroxham, the Broads' main hub, is 8 miles off. Sea Palling beach is 3½ miles away. Stalham village, 500 yards down the road, has shops, pubs and a supermarket. The property does not permit smoking.
