What a lovely site so nice to have no markings and only a sensible amount of rules. The location is beautiful and the facilities were great the loos and showers were cleaned twice daily. There is wood and marshmallows available to make use of the cool fire pits. It really is just lovely. The canoe hire was easy and the lady who got us set up was really kind and friendly. I cannot thanks the team enough for a fantastic stay and paddle.

Absolutely adored this gem of a campsite! The canal was gorgeous and we went for miles on our paddle board and kayak. The facilities were spotless and the site itself absolutely stunning, with bags of space and plenty of stars. The only thing we really missed was a freezer to swap our ice blocks over but with it being a non electric site we couldn’t grumble. Everything else more than made up for that and we can’t wait to visit again!

I cannot say enough words to describe the amazing holidays I had at the Canal Camping. Everything was excellent, staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a great time. Canoeing was such a wonderful bonus, you get so close to nature and the Kids won't forget it for a long time. I will come back!

Had a lovely couple of nights here in our tent, nice peaceful level site, not crowded. Fire pits available, wood, kindling etc also available. The facilities were cleaned regularly. No light pollution so perfect for stargazing. Also booked a canoe from the camp site and had a very enjoyable paddle along the canal & river.
