Skimming Stones

Skimming Stones is a three-bedroom house on a quiet residential street in North Norfolk, a few minutes' walk from both the beach and the town centre. The layout sprawls across two floors: ground floor living spaces include a dining room with garden access, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, and two separate sitting rooms—one with a wood burner, both with TV. Upstairs are three bedrooms: two with king beds and one with bunks. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower cubicle and one with a bath. A sofa bed in one of the sitting rooms provides additional flexible sleeping space, making six guests the comfortable maximum.

One dog stays free. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are included. An enclosed rear garden with lawn and patio offers outdoor space; note there are steps down to both the garden and the lawn. On-site parking is on the road. Smoking is not permitted inside.

The town's shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs are all within easy walking distance, and the seafront itself is just as close. This suits families or groups wanting a proper base rather than a cramped apartment, with enough separate living areas that people don't need to be in each other's way.
