Church Cottage stands beside the village church in North Northamptonshire, a period property with the River Nene at the bottom of its garden. Parts of the building date back several centuries; it was once owned by the church itself before becoming a private home. The current owners have restored it to a high standard while keeping period features intact, and the whole place is yours alone during your stay.
Three bedrooms sleep six: two kingsize doubles and two singles, all with television and radio. Two bathrooms include a wet room with a shower seat and heated towel rail. Downstairs there is a living and dining room with an open fire (logs provided), a conservatory, and a kitchen equipped for cooking proper meals. A games room has table football. Outside, a large lawn with terrace, garden furniture and barbecue opens directly onto the river—something to be mindful of with young children. Three parking spaces sit on the property. One dog stays free. Electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are all included, and there is ramp access to the rear entrance. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
