Middle Cottage

Walk through the door of Middle Cottage and you're in a comfortable living space arranged over two floors. Downstairs, the living room has a woodburner and smart TV; the kitchen/dining room is fully equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and all the essentials for cooking. Upstairs, one bedroom has a double bed (4ft 6in), the other two singles (3ft), and there's a shower room with heated towel rail. The whole cottage is yours alone, with heating, electricity, linen, towels and wifi included throughout.

The property sits in Easton-on-the-Hill, a village of traditional stone buildings near Stamford. From the garden and patio—furnished and partly lawned—you can walk straight into countryside with good routes for walking and cycling. The Blue Bell pub is just 200 yards away; another pub lies ten minutes further on foot. A shop is 500 yards away. Stamford itself, two miles off, has Georgian architecture, independent shops and restaurants. Rutland Water is within reach for watersports and cycle rides, and Burghley House for its horse trials and history. Trains run to London in an hour, or to Cambridge and Lincoln for university heritage. One pet can stay free of charge. The cottage does not permit smoking.
