Stamford Cottage is a period stone cottage in the village of Easton on the Hill, a short drive from the historic town of Stamford. The building has the solidity and character of traditional construction, with a wood burner providing both warmth and atmosphere through colder months. Two bedrooms accommodate up to four guests—one double bed and two singles—plus a bathroom with bath and shower. The ground floor combines kitchen, dining and living space, with a smart TV for quieter evenings.
The kitchen is equipped for everyday cooking: electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; wood for the burner is also provided. At the back, an enclosed garden with patio and seating gives private outdoor space. On-road parking is available, and a footpath runs directly past the property into the surrounding fields—worth knowing if you're bringing a dog, as one is welcome here.
Easton on the Hill has two pubs serving food within three-quarters of a mile, and a local shop within easy walking distance. The cottage suits couples and small families after a country break without the isolation, with Stamford close enough for day trips. Smoking is not permitted inside.
