Electric hookups are available, and the facilities include clean shower blocks and pot-washing areas.

What visitors say

We had a fantastic stay at Rosedale Abbey Caravan Park! The site is incredibly clean and well-maintained, featuring top-notch amenities including a laundry area, pot-washing facilities, and a dedicated shower room. Having an on-site shop was a massive convenience for our family. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff are some of the loveliest, most welcoming people we’ve met. A real highlight is the river crossing the bottom of the site; it’s a beautiful spot where our girls spent hours playing safely under supervision. The staff truly went above and beyond when our daughters rescued a lost duckling from the road. To keep it safe from a local cat, the site office kindly took it in and committed to caring for it until it’s ready for release. We can't recommend this place enough for a friendly, fresh, and family-oriented getaway!

just back from a fabulous long weekend here.Where do I start the place is so peaceful and set in beautiful surroundings not far from Hutton le hole and Pickering. we stayed in a pod at the side of the river lovely and clean with electricity to charge the phone and we took an electric cooler box which was a godsend in the heat! A nice veranda with picnic bench on each pod property with huge parasol was a nice touch so you dont need to pack your own table. We traveled as a couple but for families there is a lovely playpark too. The owners are friendly and approachable and there is a well stocked shop on site and 2 pubs and 2 tearooms very close for food and refreshments. The shower block and toilets were very clean . For those who want to take their camping stove there is a room to wash your dishes with hot water available. Bricks are available to put a disposable bbq on and the Abbey tearooms have a great selection of meat to cook on them. A great place for everyone either as a base for nearby Goathland, Helmsley and Howard Castle or for walkers. There is a small book available in the onsite shop for £2.50 ,worth the money for the maps of local walks .We will definitely be returning 🥰

We camped in our tent, very nice camp site, well maintained, two pubs/restaurants very close by too, dog friendly. The only bad thing i would say is there was absolutely no Internet at all, you could pay for WiFi or go to the pubs for free WiFi, our daughter inlaw was in labour with our grandchild so it was quite frustrating not even been able to use own mobile data! If you are on EE you will be fine , the rest of us had no signal at all, emergency calls only , if you are not bothered about that, as we woukdnt normallybe, then it's a lovely place to stay! There is a Park for the kids, there is a small enclosure for dogs to be off the lead safely too 🥰 the pub up the hill (9 minute walk) was gorgeous food and fabulous views! Didn't get chance to go to the one literally across the road but looked equally as nice and they have bands in the evening.

We camped for a weekend here and it was lovely. Beautiful area, very clean facilities, lovely play area for the kids (big and small) and very nice and happy staff. We'll be back for a longer stay.
